Narrow Path Investigations is proud to offer comprehensive Substance Use Prevention and Recovery Training to help organizations meet Ohio BWC requirements for their SUPR Program (formerly known as the Drug-Free Safety Program). Each course covers essential topics such as reasonable suspicion, substance abuse impacts, and employee responsibilities, with a certificate awarded upon completion.
Our comprehensive training covers SUPR requirements with topics in substance abuse impacts, employee responsibilities, and reasonable suspicion training. Ohio BWC requires employees to receive 1 hour of training annually to remain eligible for the program. New supervisors require a 2-hour initial course, followed by 1 hour of refresher training annually. It is recommended to start within 8 weeks of becoming a supervisor.

Addiction Touches Everyone
Narrow Path Investigations’ Substance Use Prevention and Recovery Training fills the requirements from the BWC’s SUPR Program for supervisor and employee training.
Substance abuse, whether at work or home, negatively affects employees. It can lead to tardiness, absenteeism, accidents, low morale, and job termination, and increasing insurance costs for employers. Training empowers employees to make informed choices that positively impact their lives both at work and home.
While many companies have a dedicated safety team, only experienced vendors certified by the BWC qualify in their Substance Use Prevention and Recovery Program. Engaging an approved vendor ensures that you receive complete and accurate information. Plus, we can address any questions you may have, both during the course and afterwards.
The long term safety and cost-saving benefits far outweigh the low cost of our courses. For example, employee training can reduce workplace accidents and workmans’ comp claims, plus the BWC offers a premium rebate to employers who have completed the course.
